A Leabrook couple had their breakfast interrupted this morning by the revelation they pocketed a $1 million Weekday Windfall prize in last night’s draw, with their first thought being how they could share the joy with their family.

The Adelaide residents held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4518, drawn Monday 10 March 2025. Each entry pocketed $1 million.

“I thought you might be calling us this morning!” the winning man laughed when speaking to an official from The Lott.

“I only just checked our ticket this morning as we were having breakfast.

“Normally, I give my wife a nudge and say, ‘we’ve won $13’. But this morning I showed her and we had to double check to make sure we weren’t seeing things.

“This is a bit higher than our normal prize.

“It came as a bit of surprise!

“I’ve always thought a win of this calibre would be absolutely fantastic! One million dollars is perfect.

“We’ll make good use of it. We can now help the family.

“But we won’t fully celebrate until the money is in the bank account!”

The couple’s marked 5-game entry was purchased at Leabrook IGA, 457 Glynburn Road, Leabrook.
