For one Nowra man, family truly comes first, with plans already underway to use his life-changing $930,000 Saturday Lotto windfall to secure a brighter future for his loved ones.
The New South Welshman held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4637 on Saturday 27 December 2025. His total prize was $936,180.60.
“Holy dooley!” the man exclaimed when an official from The Lott revealed his win.
“Nine hundred thousand dollars!?!?
“I’ve been playing for a lot of years. You win a few bucks here and there, hoping one day you’ll win the big one.
“Unbelievable!
“This is the best news you could ever get.
“I’ll pay the mortgages off for the kids, and I’ll treat myself to a box of beer.
“I was going to clean the house today, but now, I don’t know. If I do, I’ll be doing it with a smile on my face!”
The man’s winning 25-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Foodworks Worrigee, 60 Isa Road, Worrigee.
Foodworks Worrigee store manager Steven Plumpton said the team was celebrating selling the outlet’s first division one winning entry.
“The entire team at Foodworks Worrigee would like to congratulate the lucky winner and hope that they are able to do amazing things with the prize,” he said.
“Thank you for choosing Foodworks Worrigee as your store of choice!”
