A Williamstown man has wasted no time kicking his wedding bills to the curb and dreaming of an overseas odyssey after he pocketed $200,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries draw.
The merry Melburnian held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot, draw 1731, drawn Thursday 6 November 2025. He looks forward to the entire prize of $200,000.
When an official from The Lott called to reveal his life-enhancing prize, the winning man was stopped in his tracks in the middle of his workday.
“Far out! That’s just amazing!” he exclaimed.
“I can’t believe it. What are the odds that I’m the only winner in all of Australia?!
“Woo-hoo!
“I occasionally play Powerball and Oz Lotto, but this is the biggest win I’ve ever had.
“Life is good! It can’t get any better than this!”
With $200,000 set to boost his bank account, the winning man shared the prize couldn’t have come at a better time.
“This is great timing, as I have my wedding next year,” he said.
“There’s a lot of wedding costs coming in, so this will lend a massive help.
“This takes my mind off the wedding and makes me want to book an overseas holiday.”
His winning entry of six random number was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $16.00 million for draw 1732, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.41 million for draw 11047.
In FY25, 182 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot Prize winning entries across Australia won more than $20.5 million.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.
Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.
