While it might be cloudy in Figtree today, a merry band of four have had a bright start to their week, sharing a $2.1 million prize in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
The Wollongong players held one of the 14 division one winning entries in draw 4281, drawn Saturday 30 July 2022 and shared a total prize of $2,158,461.45.
Each member of the store syndicate receives a share worth $535,615.37.
Entries into the winning store syndicate were sold at Figtree Newsagency, Shop 29, Westfield Shoppingtown, Cnr Princes Highway & The Avenue, Figtree.
Figtree Newsagency owner Ning Ma said the team was thrilled to hear about selling a division one winning entry into Saturday Lotto’s $30 Million Megadraw.
“We’re feeling ecstatic to have sold a division one winning entry to some of our customers!” she exclaimed.
“It’s a great way to start the month of August with a boosted prize of $530,000! How exciting for these winners.
“We would love to say congratulations to each of our four winners, and we wish you all the best with the prize.”
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she urged anyone who purchased a Saturday Lotto syndicate entry at Figtree Newsagency to check their tickets as soon as possible.
“It’s a momentous moment for four syndicate members who have each taken home a share of this multi-million-dollar prize. However, they may have yet to discover their division one win,” she said.
“All four of the division one winning syndicate shares are unregistered which means we’re unable to contact the winners to break the life-altering news to them.
“We can’t wait to unite all the syndicate members with their share of this million-dollar prize!

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4281 on 30 July 2022 were 17,21,12,26,8,42, while the supplementary numbers were 35 and 13.
Across Australia, there were 14 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4281 – three each from New South Wales and Western Australia, two each from Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland, and one each from South Australia and the Northern Territory.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 269 so far this calendar year, including 72 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In 2021, Saturday Lotto created 210 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 351 division one winning in Saturday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $499.8 million.
