A Terrigal man happened to be in the middle of reviewing his family budget when he received the life-enhancing phone call revealing he’d won $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries draw.
The Central Coast resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10995, drawn Thursday 5 June 2025 and can look forward to a tidy $100,000.
When an official from The Lott broke the thrilling news, the stunned winner confessed he couldn’t wait to share the news with his beloved wife.
“Wow! Excellent!” the winning man laughed.
“Would you believe it; I was just sitting in front of my computer looking over our family budget.
“What great timing!
“We’ve been going through a bit of a rough patch, so this feels great.
“I’ve been playing Lucky Lotteries on and off for the past year, but honestly I never expected to win anything.”
When asked how he might enjoy his newfound treasure, the shocked winner shared he’d need some time for the winning news to sink in.
“Right now, I’m just too shocked to think of anything,” he said.
“No doubt it will go a long way helping our budget look better.
“As soon as I get off the phone, I’ll share the news with my wife.”
His winning entry of nine random numbers was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $6.28 million for draw 1704, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $20.26 million for draw 10996.
In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
