A Cockatoo man ended his workday with plenty to cheer about after finally returning missed calls from The Lott about his $1.2 million TattsLotto win.
The victorious Victorian held one of the five division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4661, drawn Saturday 21 March 2026. Each division one winning entry can look forward to $1,260,098.55.
The hardworking winner was flat out throughout the day and had no idea officials from The Lott had been trying to reach him with the thrilling news.
“Thank you! I’m still shaking,” he laughed.
“I normally check my tickets but it slipped my mind. I’ve been working all day, so I only just saw your missed calls and text.
“I’ve been playing since I was 18 so I’m in shock right now.
“We’ve been planning to retire in the next few years, but of course we weren’t expecting this. Now we can retire as soon as possible. We’ll help the kids too.
“It’s pretty easy to think about what you’ll do when you’ve been imagining what it’d be like to win for decades.
“I don’t normally play a System 7 ticket, but this time thought I’d give it a go. Not a bad choice!
“I’ll tell my wife when she gets home. She’ll be extremely happy.
“Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be having a beer tonight to celebrate.”
His winning System 7 entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4661 on 21 March 2026 were 27, 20, 11, 16, 45 and 43, while the supplementary numbers were 39 and 22.
Across Australia, there were five division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4661 – three in Victoria and one each in Western Australia and Tasmania.
