A Mount Martha woman is ready to spread generosity by cutting back her work hours and devoting one day a week to volunteering after scooping $802,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Mornington Peninsula resident held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4355, drawn Saturday 15 April 2023 and took home $802,220.63.

In addition to winning the division one prize of $783,459.23, the Victorian player’s entry also scored division three 18 times, division four 45 times and division six 20 times, bolstering her total windfall to $802,220.63.

The winning entry was unregistered, which means officials from The Lott had no way of contacting the winning woman. Instead, they had to wait for her to come forward and claim her prize.

“Oh, thank you so much!” she cheered when an official from The Lott confirmed her lottery loot this afternoon.

“Honestly, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. I’ve hardly slept a wink since I found out on Sunday morning.

“I’m sure there will be many sleepless nights until the prize is deposited into the bank account as well!

“I’ve shared the winning news with an immediate family member and will keep the celebrations private.

“This prize will really go a long way.

“I’ll be able to help out my family and cut down on my hours at work.

“I might look at doing three or four days a week at work, and one day volunteering.

“I always said if I won TattsLotto, I’d give back to the community!

“I already do volunteering work, but this will help me do even more!

“Thank you to Tatts!”

Her winning entry was purchased at Mt Martha Newsagency, 2 Lochiel Avenue, Mount Martha.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4355 on 15 April 2023 were 23, 4, 16, 31, 39 and 43, while the supplementary numbers were 17 and 18.

Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4355 – three in Queensland, two in Victoria and one each in New South Wales and the ACT.
