A Wangi Wangi pensioner revealed she can finally fulfil her dreams of giving back to charities close to her heart after she scored $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The New South Wales resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10802, drawn Monday 17 October 2023.
In addition to her $100,000 win, the woman’s entry also scored two consolation prizes of $1,000, boosting her total lottery loot to $102,000.
“Oh my god! That’s absolutely amazing, darling,” she cried when officials from The Lott called to reveal her newfound fortune.
“This is perfect! Last week the NSW Rural Fire Service called me to donate but with Christmas coming up, I thought I would hold off.
“But now! Now I can donate as much as I want.
“You wouldn’t believe it; I started playing Lucky Lotteries because my close friend actually won $100,000 on it a few years ago.
“I thought, ‘Wouldn’t that be nice if it happened to me!’.
“This will make such a difference to not only me but all the people in my life! I can spread the happiness.
“I have a friend that plays as well and we always say to each other, if one of us wins, we will help each other.
“Oh my! It will make a fantastic Christmas for my children and grandchildren!
“I almost didn’t answer your call because I had a few spam calls today but how fantastic that I did.
“Thank you so much! I can’t wait to call my friends and family to tell them the good news.”
Her winning entry of 10 consecutive numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $8.68 million for draw 1629, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $5.57 million for draw 10803.
