A Woronora man has cheered “giddy up” after discovering he’d snagged $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries draw, allowing him to finally embark on a dream lap of Australia.

The south Sydney resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11019, drawn Thursday 3 July 2025. He looks forward to a sweet $100,000 prize.

When an official from The Lott called with the thrilling news, the winning man giggled, confessing his winning ticket was the best $4 investment he’d ever made.

“Woo-hoo! You’ve got to be kidding me!” he screamed.

“Holy Jesus! I’ve always dreamt of getting this phone call.

“Oh, my goodness. This is just amazing news.

“This is the best news I’ve received in a very long time. Unbelievable!

“This is by far the best $4 I’ve ever spent.

“I can’t wait to tell my partner. She’s going to be over the moon.”

The overjoyed winner shared the $100,000 boost would allow him to complete a lap around Australia, something he’d been daydreaming about for years.

“I tell you what, I can finally do my dream trip around Australia,” he shared.

“Giddy up, I’m hitting the road!

“I’ll also be able to retire earlier than I expected.

“This is the best phone call! Don’t take it the wrong way, but I love you!”

His winning entry of two random numbers was purchased at Good News Kareela, Shop T17A, Kareela Shopping Centre, 1-13 Freya Street, Kareela.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $6.76 million for draw 1706, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $23.38 million for draw 11021.

In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.
