A couple from South East Melbourne are planning to ‘travel the world endlessly’ after this morning discovering they are more than $1.7 million richer from winning division one in Saturday’s $30 million Megadraw.
The overjoyed couple held one of the 17 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3907, drawn on Saturday 29 December 2018. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $1,764,705.89.
When a Tatts official called this morning to confirm their win, the Melbourne woman couldn’t stop laughing at the news of their windfall.
“What?! What?! Oh my god!,” she said laughing hysterically.
“Oh my god father! Oh my god!
“Is this the truth? Are you real? You can’t be!
“God, this morning I said to my partner, ‘wouldn’t it have been good if we won some money last night in TattsLotto’. But we thought we hadn’t won anything because we didn’t receive a call straight after the draw!
“This is a huge shock! You always hope and pray you are going to win, but you never really think it is going to happen.
“This is just excellent news! Thank you!”
Thrilled by the news of their windfall, the happy woman shared their plans for their million-dollar win.
“We will pay off our mortgage, share some with the kids, and invest some to make it go further,” she explained.
“But we have always dreamed of travelling the world endlessly.
“We want to go on a cruise to the South Pacific Islands, so we will do that at the beginning of the year.
“Then it’s off to Europe. I have wanted to go to Paris forever, so that is a must do! I can’t wait for 2019 – there will be lots of holidays!”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3907 on Saturday 29 December 2018 were 9, 33, 39, 30, 2 and 17, while the supplementary numbers were 22 and 41.
