A Kilmore man felt like he hit a hole in one before even stepping onto the golf course today after discovering he bagged $1 million in last night’s Weekday Windfall draw.
The victorious Victorian held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4525, drawn Wednesday 26 March 2025. He looks forward to a clean $1 million prize.
The recent retiree was completely caught off guard when an official from The Lott called him with the thrilling revelation.
“Get out. God almighty. That’s bloody beautiful!” he laughed.
“Sorry, I’m having trouble talking. Gosh, $1 million? It makes me feel weird hearing you say that.
“I can’t stop shaking. This is unbelievable.
“This will make retirement so much easier. It’s fantastic. I’m getting emotional now. You have no idea how much this helps me.”
The longtime lotto player shared he had been playing for over five decades, and while he always hoped to win, never expected it.
“I’ve played for fifty or sixty years, pretty much all my life. You don’t expect to win, but it’s always the dream!” he said.
“I was supposed to go golfing today. I’ll see if I can make it because I’m not sure how I’ll go with all this shaking. I might just have to sit here for a few days and recover.
“I can’t thank you enough. That’s a hell of a job you got!
“I think I’ll have a celebratory beer later.”
His winning 12-game QuickPick entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
