A Wagga Wagga retiree has cried “good Lord!” as he received the news he’d won $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10282, drawn Tuesday 9 April 2019.
Confirming his win with a NSW Lotteries official this afternoon, the winner was initially in disbelief.
“Good Lord!” he cried
“You’re telling me I’ve won $100,000?
“I can’t believe it! I really can’t believe it!
“Thank you so much!”
The man revealed he’d been playing Lucky Lotteries for decades and had always dreamt of winning big.
“I’ve been playing Lucky Lotteries for years but I’ve never won anything like this before,” he said.
“This is very, very good!
“I don’t know how I’ll spend the prize. I will have to talk to my wife. I’m really not sure!
“I think we will have to go on a holiday but we will have to have a good think.
“This is such a shock!”
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of one random number at Southcity Newsagency, Shop T6, 1-7 Tanda Place, Wagga Wagga.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $54.52 million for draw 1274 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $4.79 million for draw 10283.
