A Gorokan woman is finally allowing herself to celebrate her $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win after initially wondering whether the life-enhancing news was true.

The Central Coast resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10716, drawn Friday 14 October 2022.

Yesterday afternoon, the unsuspecting woman went to purchase another entry at her local newsagency and was left shocked by the winning revelation.

“I can’t believe it!” she shared.

“I went to buy another ticket at Lake Haven Lotto and decided to check my old lottery tickets.

“When the team member scanned the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket, it came up with ‘Congratulations! You’ve won’ on the lottery terminal, and I was shocked.

“The team member couldn’t exactly see how much I’d won, but we knew it was a major lottery prize. It certainly kept me on the edge of my seat!

“I went straight home and checked the ticket. I thought that maybe it was wrong.

“I didn’t believe it at first, so I gave it to my brother to check for me.”

With $100,000 about to boost her bank account, the joyful woman shared the prize would go towards a new car and helping her nearest and dearest.

“I’ll definitely upgrade the car and buy a new one!” she exclaimed.

“Then I’ll look to help my children.

“Thank you so much.”

Her winning entry was purchased at Lake Haven Lotto, Kiosk K8, Lake Haven Shopping Centre, Lake Haven Dr and Goobarabah Avenue, Gorokan.

Lake Haven Lotto team member Alejandra Waylang said their team was ecstatic see a local customer win big.

“We’re really happy to have sold a 1st Prize winning entry to a regular customer! We’ve blown up balloons and hung them around the store to celebrate this momentous occasion,” she said.

“Our customers can’t believe we’ve sold a 1st Prize winning entry as well. Some have even considered us a lucky store and have been buying their lottery tickets from us.

“Congratulations to the winner and we wish you all the best with your prize.”
