A Gosford couple started their Valentine’s Day in a way they least expected after being greetedby a $1 million win in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.
The New South Wales residents held one of the three division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4260, drawn Monday 13 January 2023 and took home $1 million.
“Oh my god! Oh my god!” the wife cheered when an official from The Lott confirmed their windfall.
“I’m shaking! We had absolutely no idea about this win.
“My husband rang me and told me someone from NSW Lotteries had phoned him this morning, and we weren’t sure why. There was definitely a long suspense!
“This has boosted our Valentine’s Day, for sure.
“We weren’t planning on celebrating today, but definitely will be organising something for tonight!
“It’s time to upgrade my 25-year-old car. My husband has the nice car, but now it will be me!
“We will also finish paying off the family home.
“This is so exciting!”
Their winning marked 12-game entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4260 on Saturday 11 February 2023 were 11, 17, 44, 40, 6, 41, while the supplementary numbers were 39 and 10.
