A Gosford shopper is ready to Live the Life after scratching one of the top prizes of $1,000 a week for five years on a $5 Live the Life Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
The happy winner purchased their winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket from Imperial Centre Newsagency, Shops 237, The Imperial Centre, 171 Mann Street, Gosford.
But who the winner is and how they will enjoy their $1,000 a week for five years prize will forever remain a mystery as the ticketholder has chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said the Gosford shopper was one of dozens of real happy Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners from New South Wales.
“While we don’t know exactly how our winner will enjoy their Instant Scratch-Its top prize, we do know that many winners spend their instant windfall on home renovations and holidays,” she said.
“Imagine what you could do with $1,000 a week for the next five years! It opens up a whole world of possibilities.
“There are still plenty of prizes across all tiers available for our customers, including the $5 Live the Life tickets, with three top prizes left on this ticket!”
Imperial Centre Newsagency owner Jeffrey Mills said he was thrilled to have sold a top prize winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
“It was very exciting! I was fortunate enough to be here when our winner discovered their news!” he exclaimed.
“We were all so excited and clapping once they realised they had won.
“We’ve been here about three and a half years and it is the first top prize winning Instant Scratch-Its we’ve had.
“I hope it is the first of many more to come for our customers!”
Last financial year, there were 158 Instant Scratch-Its top prize winners across the Lott’s jurisdictions who collectively took home more than $11.28 million.
