A Gosford woman has thanked a vivid dream about something special happening on 4 September for her multi-million-dollar Lotto win, explaining it was the reason she purchased her winning ticket into the weekend’s Superdraw.
The Central Coast resident held one of the seven division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto’s $20 Million Superdraw, draw 4187 on 4 September 2021. Each entry won a division one prize of $2,857,142.86.
This morning, an official from The Lott reached out to the woman, who had no idea she’d won the incredible prize.
“I won that?” she cried with happiness.
“I’m feeling shocked.
“This is amazing. We’ve really been struggling. This is absolutely amazing.
“I had no idea. No idea at all.
“I don’t usually answer calls from numbers I don’t know. I’m not sure why I decided to pick up the phone, but I’m so glad I did.
“I am so happy. Thank you. Thank you very much.
“I had a dream about the 4th of September, thinking that something special would happen, which is why I bought the ticket.
“This is a miracle. This is amazing. Oh my god.
“Thank you very much!”
With more than $2.8 million about to hit her bank account, she explained all the stress about bills had suddenly disappeared.
“We’re going to be able to really enjoy the rest of our lives,” she said.
“I have lots of family stuck overseas, and I had no idea when I would be able to see them again.
“This means I will be able to see them when I can, no matter how expensive flights are.
“It’s incredible!”
Her life-changing 12-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4187 – three in Victoria, two in New South Wales, and one each in Queensland and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 313 so far this calendar year, including 93 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, Saturday Lotto created 174 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 341 division one winning in Saturday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $435.21 million.
