A Goulburn man has stepped into the week as a newfound millionaire after his weekly ritual scored him a dazzling $1 million in Weekday Windfall.
The New South Wales resident held the only division one prize nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4547, drawn Friday 16 May 2025, and pocketed $1 million.
“Thank you! I saw that!” he said while speaking to an official from The Lott.
“I saw the winning numbers on Friday night, and I didn’t even need to check my ticket. I knew straight away they were my numbers because I’ve been playing them forever.
“I knew there was a reason I’ve stuck with them for decades.
“It’s hard to get too excited before you’ve actually got the money in your hands. Once it’s in my bank account, it’ll feel more real.
“It’ll be a great help. We’ll help out the kids, and it’ll boost our retirement.
“We might even go on a holiday.
“Thank you so much.”
