A Griffith Lucky Lotteries player can look forward to receiving a hefty boost to their bank account after they scored $200,000 in yesterday’s draw.
The Riverina region player held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1557, drawn Tuesday 18 January 2022.
In addition to winning the $200,000 1st Prize, they also won a $2,000 consolation prize.
However, how they plan to spend their windfall will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The entry was purchased at News & Gifts on Banna, 412-414 Banna Avenue, Griffith.
The most recent win comes less than one month after News & Gifts on Banna sold a $100,000 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot.
News & Gifts on Banna owner Pinkal Patel said his entire team was over the moon to have sold another major prize.
“It’s really good! We’re on a winning streak,” he said.
“A few weeks ago we sold a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot entry, then last week we had a division two win in Set for Life and now this!
“Our syndicates have also been winning big. We’re feeling very lucky. 2022 is off to a fantastic start.
“This win is not only great for the winner, but also our store and the community. Everyone is so excited by it!
“We’d love to send our congratulations to our winner. We are so happy for them and wish them the best of luck.”
The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said discovering the win was sure to put a smile on the mystery winner’s face.
“While we may never know how they plan to enjoy their prize, we have no doubt they are walking around today grinning from ear to ear after discovering their win,” she said.
“Other winners tell us they use their windfall to help their families, buy a new house, upgrade their home with renovations or splurge a new car.
“However, our winner chooses to use their prize, we hope they enjoy the winning feeling as long as they can.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $6.52 million for draw 1558, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $6.48 million for draw 10521.
