NSW Lotteries officials are trying to get hold of a Griffith player who won over $2 million in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw, but hasn’t answered their phone yet!
The Griffith resident held the only division one winning entry in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw, drawn Tuesday 4 December 2018. The entry won the entire division one prize pool of $2,025,065.83.
Despite their entry being registered, NSW Lotteries officials have had no luck contacting the player even after several attempts.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Lauren Cooney is encouraging anyone who had a registered entry in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto to check their tickets.
“If you bought an entry in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw, we urge you to check your ticket now! You may have won more than $2 million,” she said.
“Could you imagine how your plans for the festive season may change with this kind of money coming your way? Being on holidays could become permanent!
“If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
The winning entry was purchased at Searls Newsagency, 412-414 Banna Avenue, Griffith.
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1294, drawn Tuesday 4 December 2018 were 21, 18, 32, 35, 27, 19, and 20. The supplementary numbers were 17 and 44.
Across Australia there was only one division one winning entry in Oz Lotto draw 1294 – from New South Wales.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 165 so far this financial year, including 53 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2018, 18 Oz Lotto division one winning entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions won more than $237 million. During this time, the biggest individual division one Oz Lotto win was a $30 million prize won by a down-to-earth Hervey Bay dad.
