A Swansea man’s retirement dreams have become a reality after he discovered he’d won a marvellous $250,000 Instant Scratch-Its top prize.
The Lake Macquarie resident’s winning $10 Cash Spectacular Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Swansea Newsagency, Shop 1, 202 Pacific Highway, Swansea.
“I still can’t believe it,” the winning man chuckled when an official from The Lott confirmed his prize.
“I had no clue people could win this sort of money from an Instant Scratch-Its ticket!
“I’ve always enjoyed playing Instant Scratch-Its but I’ve never uncovered a prize like this – this is something very special.
“I’ve been wanting to retire for a little while now, and I think this win will push me to finally do so.
“Happy retirement to me!

“I took the family out for a nice big meal to celebrate. It’s a big milestone for me.

Swansea Newsagency owner Wayne Blackmore said he was thrilled to hear his outlet had sold a top prize-winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
