Life looks a little different and a great deal easier for a Sale tradie now he is a TattsLotto millionaire.

“Gee, that’s a lot of money!” he exclaimed when a Tatts official finally managed to catch him on the phone and inform him of his $1,004,249.80 windfall.

“That will go very well!

“I guess it means I can retire a bit earlier now.”

Tatts officials’ initial attempts to contact the registered winner had gone unanswered, so it was a relief for all parties when the hardworking tradie finished his work day and answered the life-changing call.

In addition to fast-tracking his retirement, the winner plans to jet abroad to visit family.

When asked if he was shocked by the news, his response was that of a classic Aussie: “You’re not wrong there!”

The tradie’s million-dollar-winning ticket was purchased at Raymond Street Lotto, 211 Raymond Street, Sale.

The Sale winner held one of four division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 3861 drawn on 21 July 2018. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $1,004,249.80.

Raymond Street Lotto owner Calvin Logan said he was thrilled to have sold a million-dollar prize.

“We’ve cracked the million-dollar mark!” he exclaimed with joy. “We’ve had customers win $200,000, $400,000 and $600,000 in the past, which is great. But knowing we’ve helped a customer become a millionaire is absolutely brilliant!

“We can’t wait to see what’s next, especially with $100 million in prizes available this week – $40 million in Oz Lotto, $40 million in Powerball and $20 million in TattsLotto.

“Fingers crossed for another big win!”

So far this calendar year, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and TattsLotto have created 106 millionaires across Australia.

The six winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3861 on Saturday 21 July 2018 were 4, 15, 2, 16, 24 and 14.  The supplementary numbers were 33 and 18.

Last financial year, there were 290 division one winning entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $341.27 million.
