A Melbourne resident or visitor is set to receive a healthy boost to their bank account, but first, they need to check their TattsLotto ticket and discover their life-enhancing $2.5 million win.

The mystery player held one of the two division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4545, drawn Saturday 8 February 2025, and took home a total prize of $2,599,857.54.

However, the winning entry was not registered to The Lott Members Club, which means officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the ticketholder and must wait for them to come forward.

The winning entry was purchased at Waverley Gardens Lotto, Shop 29 & 30 Waverley Gardens, Cnr Police Road and Jacksons Road, Mulgrave.

Waverley Gardens Lotto store manager Nelson Leongue said there will be plenty of smiles, laughter, and celebratory drinks going around all week.

“I had just woken up and looked at my phone and saw a message from a regular asking me if I knew who the division one winner was from our store, and that’s when the excitement kicked in!” he said.

“We have just helped change someone’s life, and there’s no doubt it will flow onto their family. A lot of people are struggling right now and if we had it our way, every single customer would be a winner!

“We were almost doing four division one winning entries in a year, but it has slowed down. We believe our last division one winning entry was back in September 2022.

“We believe we’ve had around 42 division one winning entries dating back to 1982 - a lot of winning moments and winning smiles!

“The entire team at Waverley Gardens Lotto wish the very lucky winner all the very best in their life and we hope you check your ticket and come forward soon.”

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she hoped Melbourne’s latest division one winner has checked their winning ticket and will come forward soon.

“Someone is most likely walking around completely oblivious to the fact they’ve won a division one prize worth more than $2.5 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw,” she said.

“We’re urging anyone who purchased a TattsLotto ticket from Waverley Gardens Lotto to check their tickets as soon as possible because they could be the mystery winner we’re searching for!

“Can you imagine how life-changing it would be to discover you’ve taken home $2.5 million? Your plans for the rest of 2025 and beyond would change in a heartbeat.

“Make sure you check your tickets, and if you do discover that you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4545 on 8 February 2025 were 42, 6, 15, 35, 40 and 25, while the supplementary numbers were 38 and 20.

Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4545 – one each in Victoria and South Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 308 so far in FY25, including 112 won by Tatts customers.

In FY24, TattsLotto created 158 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 292 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $436 million.
