A Lalor Park grandfather says he’s shaking with shock this morning after hearing the unexpected news he’s woken up a Monday Lotto millionaire.
The Sydney resident held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3876, drawn Monday 10 June 2019. He takes home the guaranteed division one prize of $1,000,000.
A NSW Lotteries official contacted the winner this morning to break the life-changing news of his million-dollar win.
“How much did you say?” he questioned.
“Oh you are kidding me!
“Thank you very much! Well isn’t this wonderful!
“You don’t know how much this means to me!
“One million dollars you say? Oh god! I can’t believe it.
“Heavens above! I’m shaking with shock. This is wonderful!”
The generous grandfather said his large family was at the very top of his Lotto List.
“I have a number of children and grandchildren that I will certainly be helping out,” he said.
“They won’t believe me when I tell them I’ve won the lottery!
“I really don’t know what to say! Gee whiz!”
The happy man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Lalor Park Newsagency, 7 Commercial Road, Lalor Park.
Lalor Park Newsagency owner Hai Zheng said he couldn’t be happier for his loyal and deserving customer.
“It’s always great to sell a division one winning entry and even better when it goes to one of our local customers,” he said.
“We a close community here in Lalor Park and everyone is very happy for the winner.
