A Morayfield single dad has secured his son’s future after scoring $20,000 a month for the next 20 years.
The Moreton Bay resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Set for Life draw 3876, drawn Tuesday 17 March 2026. He can look forward to a $4.8 million prize, paid in monthly instalments of $20,000 over 20 years.
When an official from The Lott called the hardworking winner this morning, he was caught completely off guard by the life-changing news.
“Oh frick! I won!” he cheered.
“Wow! You’re kidding! I don’t know what to say. I’m speechless.
“I’m just at work at the moment. I was not expecting this at all. I went to bed early last night so I didn’t even check my ticket.
“What a blessing. I’m a single dad so to be honest, I’m happy to use every part of the prize for my son and to set up his life.
“I already work two jobs and it’s all for him. He’s my world.
“Wow. I’m so grateful. I’m a chill person but I’m pretty hyped right now.
“Thank you so much!”
His winning 25-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Set for Life draw 3876 on Tuesday 17 March 2026 were 31, 37, 25, 15, 27, 14 and 10, while the supplementary numbers were 35 and 3.
Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Set for Life draw 3876 – the one in Queensland.
