A Hobart woman has celebrated her $1.3 million TattsLotto win with a soothing cup of tea after the shock revelation unleashed a flood of emotions and sent her heart racing.
The Tasmanian held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4383, drawn Saturday 22 July 2023, and pocketed $1,311,018.49.
So far in 2023, there have been six division one winning entries in Tasmania that have collectively taken home more than $19.61 million in prize money.
The regular player was unaware of her newfound fortune until lottery officials contacted her earlier this morning.
“Oh my god! I’m finding it hard to breathe!” she joyfully cried.
“I’m absolutely stunned, just staggered! I can’t believe it.
“I’m so overwhelmed.
“You know, I always thought I’d react differently.
“I’ve played TattsLotto for a long time. I’ve won a lot of little prizes, but never anything like this.
“I never in a million years thought this would happen to me.
“I don’t even know what to do with myself today. It’s hard to think.
“It’s been a difficult time, and this will really help my family.

Her winning 36-game QuickPick was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4383 on 22 July 2023 were 32, 14, 1, 5, 26 and 33, while the supplementary numbers were 37 and 8.
