An Adelaide man is finishing the year on a high and ready to head off on holidays after bagging a $500,000 Keno win on Friday.
The South Australian winner held a Keno Spot 8 winning entry in draw 492 on Friday 1 December 2023. He played $10 on his winning Keno game, boosting his total windfall to $500,000.
“I was there watching the draw! I saw it happen,” the ecstatic winner recounted to an official from The Lott.
“I saw I just needed one more number… and there it was!
“Beautiful!
“I pick my own numbers on my Keno tickets. I just use some birthdates and things like that, and other times I make patterns on the ticket with the numbers.
“This is a great way to finish the year. I want to clear a few bills and go on a holiday. I don’t know where to yet, but it will be great!”
His winning Keno entry was purchased at Myer Centre Newsagent, Shop T26, Terrace Level, Myer Centre, Rundle Mall.
