A Moonah woman can’t wait to start organising her seven-year-overdue honeymoon thanks to her $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot bounty.
The Tasmanian woman won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10681, drawn Wednesday 14 September 2022.
In addition to her $100,000 windfall, the winning woman’s entry also scored a consolation prize of $2,000, bolstering her total win to $102,000.
“Are you talking about one of my tickets?” the winning woman asked when an official from The Lott reached out to break the news of her good fortune.
“Are you f****** serious?
“You can’t be serious!
“Now I must tell my husband he was right!
“It’s kind of funny because it was my husband’s idea to start purchasing lottery tickets online.
“We got sick of missing draws, so when the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw was on – we decided to set up a couple multi-week entries to prevent us forgetting.
“Oh my god. I don’t know if I want to tell him or wait - just kidding! I couldn’t keep that a secret from him.
“I can’t wait to tell him!
“I think we’re going to need to go to dinner to celebrate!
“I have no idea what to do with the prize, I’d love to say I’m going to do something ‘adult like’ but I really want to go on a holiday!
“We haven’t had a honeymoon and we got married seven years ago!
“We got married on a Sunday and went back to the work on Monday, so I think it’s time!
“Thank you so much.”
Her winning entry of 10 consecutive numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $14.45 million for draw 1591, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $27.45 million for draw 10682.
