A humble Port Augusta retiree has declared winning a $613,000 division one prize in X Lotto was a âbeautiful feelingâ while revealing he plans to give it all away to loved ones.
The Spencer Gulf resident held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4039 drawn Saturday 4 April 2020. Each division one winning entry takes home a prize of $613,016.67.
Sharing his joy with an official from the Lott, the happy winner revealed he had humble plans for his windfall.
âIâm giving it all away to my family!â he declared.
âIâm going to pay off my childrenâs mortgages and give some to my friends.
âIâm going to buy my neighbour a new car as he often drives me around. Now we can drive in style.
âI donât need it for myself. Iâve got a nice little house and people to look after me.
âThe only thing I might buy myself is a nice new comfortable bed.â
The thrilled winner said he had been vying for the chance to win the big one for decades.
âIâve been playing X Lotto ever since it began,â he confessed.
âA couple of years ago I won division two but finally winning division one is just a beautiful feeling!â
The thrilled winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Terry White Chemists â Port Lincoln, 43 Liverpool Street, Port Lincoln.

The winning numbers in X Lotto draw 4039 on Saturday 4 April 2020 were 33, 36, 11, 39, 19 and 22, while the supplementary numbers were 7 and 18.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in X Lotto draw 4039 â three from Victoria and one each from New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
The Lottâs division one winning tally has now reached 300 so far this financial year, including 37 won by SA Lotteries customers.
