A hard-working farmer from Hurstbridge has found the grass is greener this morning after harvesting more than $1.6 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The victorious Victorian held one of the four winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4587, drawn Saturday, 5 July 2025. Each division one winning entry can look forward to $1,691,612.55.
When an official from The Lott revealed the winning news, the happy man couldn’t help but burst into laughter, quickly followed by tears.
“You’re absolutely kidding me, mate!” he cheered.
“Oh my god. I’m not an emotional man, but I’ve got tears in my eyes.
“This is unbelievable. Am I awake right now? I feel like I’m dreaming.
“You’re a godsend. I have a farm and it’s tough. You have no idea how much this is going to help.
“Crikey. Absolutely wow. This is the best news I’ve had in a long time. It’s life-changing.
“I’ve been playing for decades. I hadn’t checked my ticket because usually, if I have a win, it’s no more than $45. I wasn’t expecting this at all.
“Thank you so much. This is just freakish!”
His winning 50-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4587 on 5 July 2025 were 13, 6, 14, 19, 4 and 17, while the supplementary numbers were 11 and 1.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4587 – two in Victoria and one each in Queensland and Western Australia.
