A Hurstville man has confessed he’s looking forward to a more secure and fun-loving life following his surprise $25,000 Instant Scratch-Its win this morning.
The $2 Fortune Teller top prize-winning Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at North Hurstville Newsagency, Shop 4, 182 Forest Road.
“I was in absolute shock this morning, mate!” the winning man laughed when an official from The Lott called to confirm his windfall.
“It’s been a morning ritual of mine for many years now.
“I head down to the newsagent and buy the paper and an Instant Scratch-Its ticket, but I never expected to win a major prize.
“When I went back to the shop to get confirmation, I was copping high fives from everywhere and I felt quite silly because I’m sure I looked like a stunned mullet.
“It’s great! It means I can live with security and have a little bit more fun in the future.
“What an amazing feeling. Thank you!”
The team at North Hurstville Newsagency said they were over the moon for their winning customer and wished them all the best for the future.
