A Hoxton Park man’s hopes for a sleep-in this morning were quickly dashed when he was awoken by lottery officials revealing his life-changing million-dollar win in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.
The Western Sydney resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4212, drawn Monday 29 August 2022, and took home $1,000,000.
When an official from The Lott reached out to the winner this morning, he was fast asleep and completely oblivious to becoming a newly-minted millionaire.
“That’s awesome! Thank you so much!” he joyfully exclaimed.
“When you called, I was still sleeping, so I missed a few calls.
“I’ve now woken up, and I’m in complete shock.
“I feel like I’m still dreaming! Is this real?!

His winning 36-game QuickPick was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4212 on Monday 29 August 2022 were 33, 39, 14, 4, 8, 25, while the supplementary numbers were 28 and 42.
