Narellan man wasted no time pulling over on the side of the road and cutting his workday short after the revelation he’d scored $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries draw.

The South Western Sydney resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10976, drawn Monday 12 May 2025. He looks forward to a sweet $100,000.

So far in 2025, there have been nine major lottery wins in the South Western Sydney region, collectively totalling more than $103.9 million in prize money.

“Oh wow! That’s out of control!” the winning man exclaimed.

“Wowee. That’s just amazing news.

“As I saw your calls coming through, I’ve just pulled over on the side of the road.

“I’m a bit scatterbrain now.

“I bought this ticket on a complete whim. I saw the Lucky Lotteries jackpot has been climbing, so I thought I’d throw my hat in the ring.

“Look, I was meant to be working for the rest of the day, but I don’t think I’ll be able to do that anymore.

“There’s a lot I could do with the prize. I think I’ll spend the rest of the day tossing up different ideas.”

His winning entry of five random numbers was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $5.80 million for draw 1702, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $17.92 million for draw 10978.

In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.

In 2024, more than 195.3 million winners took home more than $4.84 billion in prize money from their favourite games at The Lott, including Saturday Lotto, Weekday WindfallPowerballOz LottoSet for LifeLucky LotteriesKeno (SA)Super 66Lotto Strike and Instant Scratch-Its.

Last financial year, Australia’s official lotteries contributed more than $1.8 billion via state lottery taxes and donations to help community initiatives, such as hospitals, health research, disaster relief and education.
