A Kingaroy woman was this afternoon shocked to discover she became an overnight millionaire after winning more than $1.4 million in Saturday Gold Lotto.
The north Queensland resident held one of the 14 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3963 on Saturday 13 July 2019, with each entry taking home a division one prize of $1,428,571.43.
Confirming her discovery with a Golden Casket official this afternoon, the winner revealed she had no idea she had become a millionaire.
“Oh my god! Oh my god,” she screamed.
“What the hell? Can you repeat that to my family?
“Wow! Are you sure?
“Holy sh**, I am shocked.
“I’m a millionaire? That is amazing!
“I had no idea this is what you were calling about. This is ridiculous.
“I can’t wait to tell the rest of my family.”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the ecstatic woman shared although she needed time to think, she did have a few ideas.
“God, I have no idea what I am going to do with it. I really need to think,” she laughed.
“I want to pay my house off and I’d love to go on a holiday to New Zealand.”
The happy woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry at Robinson’s News & Gifts Kingaroy, Shop 35 Kingaroy Shoppingworld, Corner Youngman Street and Alford Street, Kingaroy.
Robinson’s News & Gifts Kingaroy owner John Robinson said he was thrilled to have made one of his customers a millionaire.
“It’s been fantastic,” he said.

“This is the first division one win we have sold at this store.
“Hopefully this is the start of a winning streak and we make more of our customers millionaires.”
In 2018, Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto and Saturday Gold Lotto created 194 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3963 on Saturday 13 July 2019 were 16, 5, 18, 41, 22 and 36, while the supplementary numbers were 1 and 7.
Across Australia, there were 14 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3963, six from Victoria, three each from New South Wales and Queensland, one each from the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 193 so far this calendar year, including 38 won by Golden Casket customers.
In the 12 months to 31 December 2018, there were 280 division one winning entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $306.19 million.
