A Box Hill couple burst into tears of joy after a call from lottery officials revealed they’d pocketed $200,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The Hills Shire residents held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1761, drawn Friday 30 January 2026. They look forward to a neat $200,000 payday.
When an official from The Lott confirmed the thrilling news, the winning duo were lost for words and struggling to process their six-figure windfall.
“We’re doing fantastic!” the winning husband exclaimed.
“When we checked the ticket, my wife nearly fell off her chair.
“We both couldn’t believe it. We honestly didn’t know if it was real.
“Hearing you confirm the news has me bawling like a baby.
“We’re just standing here crying in our living room. We can’t put into words how much this means.”
With $200,000 soon to boost their bank account, the grounded duo shared the prize would be life-enhancing.
“It has come at the right time. It’s going to make our life easier,” he said.
“We’re just so happy right now.

Their entry of four random numbers was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
