A Mount Druitt man can’t wait to quit his job for good and become his own boss after scoring a jubilant $900,000 in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
The Western Sydney resident held one of the 11 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4327, drawn Saturday 7 January 2023 and takes home a total prize of $909,090.91.
Speaking to an official from The Lott this morning, the Sydneysider explained he discovered his life-changing news when he checked his ticket on Saturday night straight after the draw.
“Hold up, I’ve got to put this phone call on record. It’s a phone call I want to remember for the rest of my life!” he laughed.
“Yay! I can’t believe it.
“I checked the results straight after the draw on Saturday night.
“Now that the win is confirmed, I can invite the family over and throw a big party to celebrate!
“I won $30 on another Saturday Lotto ticket from the week before and I decided to buy another ticket.
“This time I bought a QuickPick rather than playing my own numbers. I’m so glad I did!
“We’re going to start our own business with the prize. It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a while now.
“I’m quitting my job! I can be my own boss!
