A Melbourne mum is recovering from shock after learning she is $408,000 richer after winning division one in last Saturday’s TattsLotto!
The unsuspecting winner held one of the ten division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 3877 on 15 September 2018. Each entry won the division one prize of $408,233.51.
“Oh my god!” the winner exclaimed in disbelief.
“No, I didn’t. Did I?
“This is not a hoax, is it?”
Tatts officials assured the disbelieving winner it was not a hoax and explained they have been trying to contact her for the past week to confirm the news of her win, but all calls had gone unanswered until this morning.
“Wow! I’ve never won something like this in my life!
“I’ve won $4,000 in division two before, but nothing like this!
“I’m still picking myself up!”
The excited winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 12-game QuickPick entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
While the winner is still reeling from the news of her windfall, she already knows what she will do with her prize — share it with her family.
Tatts spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said she was thrilled to have united the last of the ten division one winners from TattsLotto draw 3877 with their prize.
“We’ve been trying to contact this division one winner for more than a week to confirm her win,” she explained.
“We called, emailed and sent a letter — but received no response until today.
“I’m thrilled we finally got through and were able to share the winning news.
“Who wouldn’t want to hear they are now $408,000 richer?”
So far this calendar year, Monday & Wednesday TattsLotto and TattsLotto have created 135 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3877 on Saturday 15 September 2018 were 3, 7, 15, 44, 45 and 1, while the supplementary numbers were 26 and 34.
Across Australia there were ten division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 3877 – four from Queensland, three from Victoria, two from New South Wales, and one from Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 293 so far this calendar year, including 120 won by Tatts customers.
