A Port Lincoln man is floating on cloud nine after uncovering a sensational $100,000 Instant Scratch-Its top prize win on a recent ticket.

The Eyre Peninsula resident’s winning $5 Queen’s Fortune Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Terry White Chemists - Port Lincoln, 43 Liverpool Street, Port Lincoln.

When an official from The Lott confirmed the winning news, the gleeful man relived the thrilling moment he realised he’d won $100,000.

“It’s been a whirlwind!” the winning man laughed.

“I don’t think it has sunk in yet. It all feels like a dream.

“It’s funny because at first, I didn’t think I’d won anything.

“I stared at the ticket for a while, and it wasn’t until I triple-checked it that I pieced it all together and the penny dropped.

“My mum got me on to Instant Scratch-Its tickets years ago, and I’ve been buying a different ticket each week ever since.

“My wife and I have already started dreaming of all the different ways we could spend the money.

“We’ve decided we’ll put some of it towards our mortgage and book a family holiday.

“For now, it still feels like a dream!”
