An Elizabeth woman was moved to tears after discovering she scored $1 million in Friday’s Weekday Windfall draw after accidentally selecting one number different from her regular numbers.
The northern Adelaide resident held one of the two division one winning entries in Weekday Windfall draw 4403 on Friday 14 June 2024 and took home a total prize of $1,000,000.00.
The joyous woman shared she was a single mother and the win had come at the most perfect time.
“Oh my god! Thank you so much!” she cried.
“It’s freaky! I used all my regular numbers except for one! I must’ve clicked it by accident instead of my normal choice.
“I can’t believe it. It’s just insane. It was meant to be!
“I’m a single mum and I can’t even begin to tell you how much this means to me. It’s life-changing.
“I can’t tell you how many times I’ve checked my ticket and I’m pretty much running on no sleep.
“I’ll be able to finally buy a house! Something I’ve never been able to do.
“This is just so much stress taken off me. I’ve never had something like this. Thank you so much.”
The woman’s marked 15-game entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4403 on Monday 17 June 2024 were 3, 1, 20, 9, 18 and 4, while the supplementary numbers were 10 and 12.
Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Weekday Windfall draw 4403 – one in New South Wales and one in South Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 399 so far in FY24, including 30 won by SA Lotteries customers.
