An Sorell man is happily trading office chairs for camping chairs after scoring $900,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Tasmanian resident held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4591, drawn Saturday 19 July 2025. Each division one winning entry bagged $913,127.93.
So far in 2025, there have been 12 major lottery wins in Tasmania, that have collectively taken home more than $75.73 million in prize money.
The newly retired winner was still buzzing with excitement when an official form The Lott called him.
“I’m excellent! I’ve already resigned from work!” he cheered.
“We’ve been thinking about retiring, but this just speeds things up completely.
“Next on the cards is a road trip. We’ve been planning it for a while, and now we can even upgrade our caravan too.
“We’re over the moon. We’re going to see a financial planner and get things sorted to set ourselves up and be able to live happily ever after!
“As soon as I saw we’d won, I looked at my wife across the table and just said, ‘I’m not going to work anymore!’. She thought I was joking.
“It’s incredible. It just means we don’t have to worry.
“Thank you so much!”
His winning 50-game QuickPick entry was purchased from Sorell Lotto Hub, Kiosk 1, Sorell Plaza, 12 Cole Street, Sorell.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4591 on 19 July 2025 were 7, 42, 36, 17, 15 and 22, while the supplementary numbers were 34 and 9.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4591 – four in Victoria, and one each in South Australia, Queensland and Tasmania.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 241 so far in 2025, including 99 won by Tatts customers.
In 2024, TattsLotto created 149 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 316 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $400.2 million.
