A Woy Woy woman quickly snapped out of her post-holiday blues after returning from an overseas vacation to discover she’d won $100,000 in a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw while she was away.

The New South Wales resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10877 drawn Monday, 23 September 2024, and looks forward to a total prize of $100,000.

When officials from The Lott confirmed her prize, the winning woman shared she still couldn’t believe she’d snagged a prize seeing as she’d never won anything in her life.

“Wow! Oh my god!” the winning woman gasped.

“I only arrived home from holidays a couple of days ago, and when I was going through my mail, I noticed a letter from The Lott.

“The letter was telling me to check my tickets which I thought was odd.

“When I checked my tickets, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

“I’ve never even won a chook raffle in my life, let alone anything near one hundred thousand dollars!

“It’s huge for me. I’m a retiree and I could really use the money to get a bit more comfortable.

“It’s sure going to make a big difference to my life!

“Certainly, the best news I could’ve received after coming back from a holiday.”

Her entry of one random number was purchased at Deepwater Plaza Newsagency, Shops 14-15 Deepwater Plaza, Railway Street, Woy Woy.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $2.68 million for draw 1689, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $5.44 million for draw 10882.

In FY24, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $53.4 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.
