Ten days after the draw, Queensland’s newest multi-millionaire has come forward to claim their $3.3 million Saturday Gold Lotto division one prize from an entry purchased at Julia Creek.
There were 12 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4325, drawn Saturday 31 December 2022. Each division one winning entry pocketed $3,333,333.34.
However, how the winner plans to enjoy their prize will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The winning entry was purchased at Julia Creek News, 42 Burke Street, Julia Creek.
Julia Creek News owner Ellen Warner said she was pleased to hear their division one winner had been united with their prize.
“We have owned this newsagency for 38 years this Saturday, and this is our first division one win!” she said.
“We have previously sold two $80,000 first prizes in Golden Casket back in the day and have also had a large Instant Scratch-Its win.
“My wish for the winner is that this prize brings you joy.”
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4325 on 31 December 2022 were 11, 23, 35, 42, 20 and 45, while the supplementary numbers were 8 and 38.
Across Australia, there were 12 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4325 – four each in Queensland and Victoria, three in New South Wales and one in Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 221 so far this financial year, including 56 won by Golden Casket customers.
In 2022, Saturday Gold Lotto created 171 millionaires across Australia.
