A generous Palm Beach woman has confessed she is still in shock after discovering she is more than $400,000 richer after winning division one in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.

The happy winner holds one of the ten division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3877 on 15 September 2018. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $408,233.51.

As well as winning the coveted division one prize, the winner’s system-8 marked entry also won division three 12 times and division four 15 times, bolstering her total prize to $420,986.96.

When speaking with a Golden Casket official this morning to confirm her win, the generous winner revealed she thought it was a dream.

“I was in bed when I discovered the win. A family member came and woke me up to tell me I had won. I thought it was a dream!” the winner explained.

“I got up out of bed and woke up properly and asked the person ‘Was that true? Or was that a dream? Did I really win the Lotto?’

“They confirmed it, and that’s when I started to shake!”

When asked how she planned to spend her Gold Lotto windfall, the generous winner revealed it would go towards helping those at the top of her Lotto List – her beloved family.

“I’ll give some of it to my children and grandchildren. I’d like to help other family members by paying off their credit cards,” she declared.

“I’m a giver, so I’ll give most of it away but I’ll probably save some money for my retirement.

“Every day I try to do something nice for someone else. Karma always comes back to you when you give.

“This win is a lovely way for karma to come back to me!”

The winner revealed how she chose the numbers on her marked entry.

“I’ve been playing those numbers for over 30 years. I chose the numbers using family members birthdays, the age I was when I purchased the entries, my lucky numbers and anniversaries,” she explained.

“I’ve had a few smaller wins in the past – the biggest was $4,000, but now I’ve got all seven numbers!”

The winning Saturday Gold Lotto entry was purchased at Palm Beach Newsagency, Shop 5, Pavilions On 5th, Palm Beach.

The win takes the Gold Coast region’s division one winning tally up to 13 this calendar year. This tally includes an unclaimed prize worth $671,513.12 from draw 3867 drawn 11 August 2018 and purchased in Helensvale.

So far this calendar year, Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto and Saturday Gold Lotto have created 134 millionaires across Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3877 on Saturday 15 September 2018 were 3, 7, 15, 44, 45 and 1, while the supplementary numbers were 26 and 34.

Across Australia there were ten division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3877 – four from Queensland, three from Victoria, two from New South Wales, and one from Western Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 291 so far this calendar year, including 66 won by Golden Casket customers.

Last financial year, there were 290 division one winning Saturday Gold Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $302.7 million.
