A Kempsey man is planning an upgrade to his travel plans after today discovering he is over $100,000 richer from a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The happy winner held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10243, drawn 27 August 2018.

As well as winning the 1st Prize, the man’s entry also scored two consolation prizes totalling $1,015, bolstering his total win to $101,015.00.

Speaking to a NSW Lotteries official this morning to confirm his win, the man couldn’t contain his excitement and immediately burst into laughter after the life-changing news was confirmed.

“Can you say that again?” the man said as he giggled with glee.

“I’m sorry! I can’t stop laughing. Thank you! Oh my god! I’m just so excited.

“I went into the newsagency to check my ticket but the ticket didn’t scan.

“I logged onto the website to check the numbers and that’s when I saw it.

“I thought to myself ‘oh Jesus, that can’t be right’ so I am so glad I’m talking to you to confirm it is real.

“You’ve made my day, my week and my year!”

When asked how he planned to spend his Lucky Lotteries windfall, the ecstatic man explained it would help him upgrade his upcoming travel plans.

“I’ve got a trip to Alaska on a cruise coming up next year which is already booked,” the winner explained.

“I’m pretty sure it’s going to pay for it and I’m pretty sure I won’t be travelling in the back of the plane anymore! I’ll upgrade to Business Class!

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry from Blairs Newsagency, 88 Horton St, Port Macquarie.

Peter Tompsett, owner of Blairs Newsagency, said he was thrilled to have sold another Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize.

“We’ve been here since the 1900’s and are probably one of the original lottery outlets that sold Lucky Lotteries,” he explained.

“So we have sold a few over the decades and are pleased we have had many happy customers become winners.

“We hope to sell another winning entry soon and that one of our customers takes home the $19 million Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot!”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $19 million for draw 1120 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.93 million for draw 10246.

NSW Lotteries customers can purchase a single ticket number into the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot for $2.20 and the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot for $5.50. For your chance to make today your ‘Lucky’ day, why not get your paws on a Lucky Lotteries ticket at your local NSW Lotteries outlet or online.
