Excitement kept a Kilsyth woman wide awake as her mind spun in circles after discovering she’d won a life-enhancing million-dollar prize in last night’s Weekday Windfall draw.

The Melburnian held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4449, drawn Monday 30 September 2024 and looks forward to a neat $1 million.

So far in 2024, there have been seven division one winning entries in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs that have collectively taken home more than $8.05 million in prize money.

The winning woman wasted no time answering the winning phone call from lottery officials this morning, eager to confirm if her newfound millionaire status was real.

“I can’t believe it. It’s so exciting!” she cheered.

“I couldn’t sleep at all last night. I just kept thinking about this.

“My mind is going round and round. I am in so much shock.

“It’s crazy to think I was the only one who had all the winning numbers nationally!”

With a few extra zeros about to boost her bank account balance this coming month, the victorious Victorian shared how the win would make a difference in her life.

“I've spent my whole life caring for a loved one, and this will be a huge help,” she revealed.

“I’ll look to put it towards my retirement fund!”

Her winning marked 18-game entry was purchased at Kilsyth News and Lotto, Shops 6, Kilsyth Shopping Centre, 520-528 Mt Dandenong Road, Kilsyth.

The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4449 on Monday 30 September 2024 were 1, 20, 27, 25, 11 and 42, while the supplementary numbers were 37 and 24.

Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Weekday Windfall draw 4449 – one in Victoria.
