A generous Whittlesea man is looking forward to turning a life-changing win into a gift for others, pledging to donate much of his $670,000 TattsLotto prize to charity.
The gleeful Victorian held one of the 10 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4579, drawn Saturday 7 June 2025. Each division one winning entry pocketed $627,568.96.
Amazingly, he also scored division two 6 times, division three 6 times, division four 15 times and division six 10 times, bolstering his total prize to $678,130.06.
“Thank you! Oh my!” he laughed when an official from The Lott called with the thrilling news.
“That’s a nice surprise for my morning. I’ve just gone for a walk and I’m having breakfast now. I wasn’t expecting this at all.
“Luckily, I’m sitting down. I might’ve fallen over!
“That’s amazing. I think a lot of it will go to charity. There are a lot of less fortunate people than I, so I’d love to share the love.
“I’ll talk to my wife, and we can go through some charities we’d like to donate to.
“Thank you so much!”
His winning 2 x System 8 entry was purchased at newsXpress Whittlesea, 45 Church Street, Whittlesea.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4579 on 7 June 2025 were 30, 26, 11, 22, 36 and 13, while the supplementary numbers were 24 and 45.
Across Australia, there were 10 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4579 – three in New South Wales, four in Victoria, one each in Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia.
