A Kingsford man has declared he felt like a king after discovering he’d won more than $1 million in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto.
The Eastern Suburbs winner held the only division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4175, drawn Wednesday 20 April 2022 and takes home $1,005,346.75.
Confirming his win with an official from The Lott this morning, the excited winner said he thought he might have been dreaming when he checked his ticket, having never entertained the idea that he’d win big one day.
“This is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me!” he proclaimed.
“I saw the results and checked the numbers and didn’t believe it.
“I pinched myself once, twice and then a third time to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.
“Now I know I can live comfortably for the rest of my life and just enjoy every day as it comes.
“This really is amazing. Thank you so much!”
“There are a lot of numbers to match and I believed it would never happen for me,” he laughed.
“Always the bridesmaid and never the bride, well not anymore!”
The Kingsford man’s life-enhancing System 8 QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4175 on Wednesday 20 April 2022 were 40, 12, 27, 2, 17, 26, while the supplementary numbers were 37 and 43.
Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4175 – the one in New South Wales.
