A decade of marking his lottery entries with his favourite numbers has led a Kogarah man to a life-changing $1 million Monday & Wednesday Lotto win.
The New South Wales player held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4127 and took home $1 million.
Confirming his win with an official from The Lott this morning, the Sydney resident explained he made the exciting discovery last night.
“Thank you,” he managed eventually.
“I honestly don’t know what to say. It hasn’t sunk in yet!
“I was up all night after I checked the ticket. I couldn’t get to sleep. It’s unbelievable.
“I’ve been playing for about 10 years and I always play the same numbers, my favourite numbers and they’ve certainly delivered for me.
“I’m going to put it towards a house, it will be a big help!”
The winning entry was purchased at Icon News, 52 Railway Parade, Kogarah.
Icon News owner Erbin Susinggih said he was thrilled for his local and regular customer.
“We are so happy for this man!” he exclaimed.
“It’s really nice to see this prize go to one of our locals.
“We wish him all the very best and hope he really enjoys it!”
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4127 on Wednesday 3 November 2021 were 23, 5, 10, 28, 25, and 33, while the supplementary numbers were 18 and 1.
Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4127 – one each in New South Wales and South Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 393 so far this calendar year, including 119 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, Monday & Wednesday Lotto created 95 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 102 division one winning Monday & Wednesday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won $101 million.
