A Laverton man has confessed his legs were shaking and he was feeling faint after the shock revelation he won $2.1 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Melburnian held one of the 14 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4535 on Saturday 4 January 2025. Each division one winning entry scored $2,142,857.15.

“No kidding!” he exclaimed when the enormity of his win was confirmed by an official from The Lott.

“I’ve been playing TattsLotto for 50 years – always using the same numbers. It’s been that long that I don’t even remember why I chose those numbers.

“Wow!!

“I had no idea and wouldn’t have checked my ticket until I next went back into the store.

“I’m nearly going to faint! My legs are shaking.

“I haven’t had time to think about it all. It will mean a lot to me and my family.

“2025 is going to be a great year!

“I might even get myself a new car!”

The man’s winning marked 10-game entry was purchased at Laverton Authorised Newsagency, 12 Aviation Road, Laverton.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4535 on 4 January 2025 were 33, 19, 8, 23, 10 and 31, while the supplementary numbers were 42 and 13.

Across Australia, there were 14 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4535 – six each in New South Wales and Victoria and two in Queensland.
