A Long Jetty woman is heading straight to the travel agent to plan an overseas trip to England after discovering she won $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The winner took home the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10317, drawn Friday 27 September 2019.
As well as winning 1st Prize the New South Wales player also won a consolation prize of $1,000 boosting her total bounty to $101,000.
Speaking with a NSW Lotteries official this afternoon the winner admitted the news came as a shock.
“Are you serious?” she laughed.
“Is this a joke? Please tell me this isn’t a joke!
“Are you sure I am the winner?
“This is definitely a shock!
“What a nice way to start the weekend.
“God, I need to sit down!
“This is amazing news. Thank you!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the happy woman admitted she would share it with her family and go on a much-needed holiday.
“I am definitely going to celebrate tonight with my family,” she declared.
“I am going to share my prize with my loved ones and I would love to go on a holiday to England.”
The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry at Toowoon Bay Post Office and Newsagency, 1/ 145-147 Bay Road, Toowoon Bay.
Toowoon Bay Post Office and Newsagency owner John Watson said the outlet was celebrating making one of their local customers $101,000 richer.
“What excellent news,” he said.
“We are so happy for our local customer and we wish her all the best with her prize.
“We have sold a few major prizes in the past and we can’t wait to sell more.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $2.20 million for draw 1453 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $4.79 million for draw 10318.
