Ten Bellarine locals have had a kick-start to the week after their store syndicate in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw scored them a division one prize worth over $446,000.
The syndicate entry, nicknamed ‘Lucky 7’, was one of the nine division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3969, drawn Saturday 3 August 2019. Each entry won a division one prize of $446,898.09.
In addition to winning the coveted division one prize, the store syndicate’s marked System 7 entry also won division two 6 times, bolstering its total prize to $508,781.49.
Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $50,883.65.
Shares in the syndicate were sold at Bellarine Village Lotto, Shop 12 Bellarine Village, Bellarine Highway, Newcomb.
Bellarine Village Lotto owner Ben Kelberg said he was excited to hear his outlet had sold another division one winning entry.
“We have called this syndicate ‘Lucky 7’ because it has 12 System 7 games in it,” he explained.
“The syndicate has been running since we took over the shop six and a half years ago and some of our winners have been playing it every week since then.
“We are so happy that we have so many regular customers involved in this syndicate, and also some new players, so it will be an exciting week getting to tell all ten of our customers they have won over $50,000 each.
“The last division one winning entry we sold was at Christmas, which was also part of a syndicate, so it is exciting to have another one so soon.
“Since we’ve been here we’ve sold nine division one winning entries and we hope to keep selling winners!”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3969 on Saturday 3 August 2019 were 44, 28, 32, 3, 5 and 38, while the supplementary numbers were 25 and 27.
Across Australia, there were nine division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 3969, four from Victoria, two each from New South Wales and Queensland and one from Tasmania.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 227 so far this calendar year, including 96 won by Tatts customers.
In the 12 months to 31 December 2018, there were 280 division one winning TattsLotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $306.19 million.
